(This session has concluded. The video will be made available at a later time.)

Collaborations are a necessary part of Librarianship.  While it may be a necessity, that doesn’t mean the collaboration will be a success.   There is a spectrum that the results of a collaboration can fall along. That spectrum can range from the very best outcome where all involved have received optimum results for their needs, to the very worst outcome where everything that could have gone wrong, did.  In this session, I will present a panel of representatives from different institutions to discuss the good, the bad and the in between in their own collaborations.  We will discuss ways in which different choices could have changed the collaboration outcomes as well as if the big picture changed during the project.  The members of the panel will provide the highlights of their collaborative project and what they learned from the experience(s). Afterward, questions can be asked by the audience, along with a discussion of what can be done during a collaboration to create a positive environment that results in developing a successful collaboration.
